Our Tenth Year!
 Diamond Trainers
The Diamond is made
of composite material, cruises at
135 knots and burns less than five
gallons
of fuel an hour. It is
inexpensive to operate and maintain
and a lot of fun to fly. It has dual
sticks
and a bubble canopy with
excellent visibility. This is the
trainer that the Air Force Academy
and
many collegiate flight schools
are using.

Partnering with Embry Riddle
University
We are collaborating with Embry
Riddle University developing a
partnership which will enhance
both
our programs. Embry Riddle has
extensive experience working with
the aerospace industry.
They will
share those resources as they help
us with our capital campaigns offering guidance
and assistance in our development. They will also open their campus to our students during the summer offering our students the opportunity to visit for a weekend, stay in their dorms,
tour the facilities and interview for scholarships and seats in a freshman class.
We will include in our curriculum a comprehensive overview of career opportunities in the
aerospace industry and the ways to prepare for them. Embry Riddle University offers career
paths for engineers, airport management, air traffic control as well as for pilots. They are
recognized as the leading aviation university in the country with campuses in Florida and Arizona.
They will open their campus to our students during the summer

Teens
explore career opportunities in
aviation

Comments From the Students
Scholarship Flight Training gave me more confidence and made me appreciate the benefits
of hard work. It wasn't exactly easy to get up at 8:00 many summer mornings and study with ten guys for hours. I spent my summer earning my license because it is something I have
always wanted to do. Unfortunately, I
was the only female in this years
flight class. I hope
next year's program
attracts more women. I know that the generous scholarship I received
gave me a chance to fulfill a childhood dream.
Thanks Jen
There weren't many classes that prepared me for SFT. However, the closest I would have to
say was Mr. Markers History class.
Though the subject matter is somewhat different; Marker is the sort of teacher that gets you
to think and that's a good prerequisite. This opportunity has opened many doors, and changed lives. This program has started a 'ripple' in the community, and is providing the chance for next generation aviation enthusiasts to go for the sky. Not only is it a great benefit for the students,
but by diffusion, brings the community to a better understanding of aviation.

I felt that the two parts of the program mixed really well. We learned something in class and
then put it to use in the plane.

After I enrolled in Scholarship
Flight Training’s private pilot
course I realized I hadn’t been
doing anything with my life. Last
year I earned my private pilot’s
license. I am now in boot
camp for
the army and plan to be a helicopter
pilot.

When
I enrolled in Scholarship Flight
Training’s private pilot course I
wasn’t sure what I wanted to do after I graduated from high school. After earning my private pilot’s license I
new I wanted a career in
the aviation industry. I am now
studying to be an aircraft mechanic.
Steve
I
just earned my private pilot’s
license at Scholarship Flight
Training and know that I want to
be
a business pilot. It feels good to
know what I am going to do.
Ryan
I am
just finishing Scholarship Flight
Training’s private pilot course. I
just turned seventeen. I feel very lucky to have been a part of this program. Because of this experience, I am now
seriously considering a
career in aviation.
